Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged various institutions to transition from manual systems to digital-based systems. One of its implementations is in the guest book recording system. Previously, guest recording that was still done manually often caused several issues, such as difficulties in searching for data, the risk of data loss, and limited access to reports. This research aims to develop a guest book system that can help manage visit data effectively and efficiently. The model used in the system development is Rapid Application Development (RAD), allowing the design, implementation, and testing processes to be carried out quickly with user involvement. The system is developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result of this research is a web-based guest book application that enables visitors to record their attendance directly, staff to manage visit data, and leaders to monitor visit reports in real time. With this system, guest book management is expected to become more practical, structured, and supportive of improving the quality of institutional services.
