WEB-BASED PKH ASSISTANCE DATA COLLECTION INFORMATION SYSTEM IN RONGGURNIHUTA DISTRICT

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a conditional social assistance program from the government aimed at poor or vulnerable families with specific household members, such as pregnant women, toddlers, school-aged children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. In Ronggurnihuta Sub-District, most of the community belongs to the lower-middle economic category, resulting in many families receiving PKH assistance every year. However, the data recording process, which is still carried out manually, often causes problems such as delays, recording errors, duplicate data, and suboptimal registration of families that should be eligible. This condition leads to inefficient distribution of aid and the potential for mistargeting.This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for PKH assistance data recording in Ronggurnihuta Sub-District. The system was built using PHP with the CodeIgniter 4 framework and MySQL as the database. The main features include self-registration by citizens, uploading of required documents, data verification by the admin, beneficiary data management, and reporting. With this system, residents can register and monitor the status of their assistance applications online without having to visit the sub-district office, while admins can perform verification and manage data more quickly and accurately.The result of this research is a web-based application that improves data recording efficiency, minimizes errors, and supports transparency in the distribution of social assistance. Testing using the black-box method showed that all features function according to user requirements. Thus, this system is expected to assist the process of data recording and distribution of PKH assistance in Ronggurnihuta Sub-District to be more efficient, transparent, and well-targeted.
