Peer Review Process

The blind review process for the Jurnal Media dan Inovasi Pembelajaran (JUDI) is designed to ensure the integrity and quality of published articles while maintaining impartiality and fairness in the evaluation process. Here is an outline of the blind review process:

1. Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts to the journal's editorial office electronically through an online submission system.

2. Initial Screening: Upon receipt, the editorial office conducts an initial screening to ensure that the submission adheres to the journal's guidelines and scope. Submissions that meet the criteria are then forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief.

3. Assignment to Reviewers: The Editor-in-Chief assigns each manuscript to at least two expert reviewers who have relevant expertise in the subject matter. Reviewers are selected based on their qualifications, experience, and absence of conflicts of interest with the authors.

4. Double-Blind Review: JUDI employs a double-blind review process, meaning that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed from each other. This ensures impartiality and minimizes biases in the evaluation process.

5. Review and Evaluation: Reviewers critically evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement, highlighting strengths and weaknesses.

6. Decision: Based on the reviewers' feedback, the Editor-in-Chief makes a decision regarding the manuscript, which may include acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors are informed of the decision along with reviewers' comments to guide revisions, if necessary.

7. Revision and Resubmission: If revisions are required, authors are given a specified timeline to revise their manuscript based on reviewers' comments and editorial suggestions. Revised manuscripts undergo further evaluation before a final decision is made.

8. Publication: Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in the next available issue of JUDI according to the publication frequency. Once published, articles are accessible to the public, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of education and learning innovation.

By implementing a rigorous double-blind review process, JUDI ensures the quality and credibility of published research while upholding the principles of fairness and transparency in the peer review system.
